Meet Our Grants Specialist, Quintin

QUINTIN | HE/HIM

Quintin is a Texas native who graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration.

Quintin has been serving nonprofits in various capacities since his youth, volunteering for organizations such as El Pasoans Fighting Hunger and Las Americas Immigrant Advocacy Center, and working to eliminate economic barriers as a full-time grant writer for YWCA El Paso del Norte Region.

After several years of successful grant writing in Texas, Quintin decided to move to Portland where he could use his skills to further support the city’s thriving Black population. As a Grants Specialist for Imagine Black, Quintin gets to do what he’s passionate about – secure grant funding that will uplift our Black community and ultimately achieve the future that we deserve.

When Quintin gets a seat at the table, he makes sure his community gets the opportunity to listen, share, define, and influence.
