Our 2021 School Board Endorsements

Oregon schools are failing Black students and families, making the upcoming School Board races more crucial than ever.

Imagine Black is proud to endorse Jaime Cale, Portland School District, Zone 4 (write-in) ; Tai Harden-Moore, Newberg School District, Zone 5; Erica Fuller, Centennial School District, Position 6; Robyn Stowers, Gresham-Barlow School District, Zone 1; and Jasia Mosley, Gresham-Barlow School District, Zone 4 for their local 2021 Public School Board elections!

We got to know these candidates through a series of interviews and want to encourage y’all to get to know them, too!

All of these candidates have committed to working with Imagine Black to end the School-to-Prison pipeline, working through a Black Queer Feminist lens, never voting to allow school resources officers to (re)enter schools in their school districts, and never taking a dollar from the police.
