Leadership Program Manager Transition
Dear PAALF Community:
We bring you bitter-sweet news that Lakeitha Elliott is stepping down from her position as Leadership Program Manager of PAALF. After nearly three years at PAALF, Lakeitha has decided to seek new adventures. While the news of this transition is accompanied by a profound sense of loss, we thank her for her support in PAALF. It is an understatement to say she will be sorely missed, but we are filled with excitement and optimism for Lakeitha’s future endeavors. Her dedication to community building, racial justice, developing transformative leadership skills, building capacity amongst the Black community, while supporting and engaging Black Leaders, has been an influential force in PAALF. We thank Lakeitha for her efforts that assisted in these accomplishments and so many others. Please join us at Maranatha Church on October 14, at 4:00 pm at the African American Leadership Academy Cohort 4 Graduation as we honor her tenure. Her last day as Leadership Program Manager is October 31, 2017.
It is with our sincerest appreciation and gratitude that we say farewell to Lakeitha, and as a forum of African American leaders, with open arms, we will continue to support her continued leadership path where ever that may take her.
Sincerely, Joy Alise Davis, PAALF Executive Director, and PAALF Executive Committee
